Teacher Management

All users, whether class-based or not, are called ‘teachers’ on Taith360. Teachers can be added either through your Wonde connection or manually.

Adding a Teacher Using Wonde

Update the teacher’s details on your Management Information System or ‘MIS’ (SIMS, Teacher Centre etc.). Ensure that the email address is set as ‘work’.
Invite the teacher to activate their account – see Sending/Re-sending Invitations to Activate a Taith360 Account.

Remember that the sync between your MIS and Taith360 takes place overnight, and isn’t instantaneous. Any changes you make on your MIS will be seen on Taith360 the following day. However, if you need the changes to be made more urgently, contact our support team and we will be able to manually sync your schools (this can normally be completed within approximately two hours).

An activation link will be sent to the provided email address. The new staff member should then:

  • Click on the link in the email.
  • Set up a password to complete activation

Please remember that although hwbmail email addresses redirect to hwbcymru, whatever you have set as their ‘work’address on your MIS is what they will need to use to sign into Taith360.

Adding a Teacher Without Wonde

Send the following details for each teacher you would like to add to support@assessment360.org:

Title
Forename
Surname
Email address
Classes they teach
Admin requirements (Yes/No)
An activation link will be sent to the provided email address. The new staff member should then:

Changing an Email Address

If you use Wonde, simply change the work email address on your MIS, and this will automatically sync with Taith360. You can then follow steps 2 and 3 below.

If you are not using Wonde, and you need to change a teacher’s email address, simply follow these steps:

Send the following details for the email address you are changing to support@assessment360.org:

Teacher’s name
Email address currently on the system
New email address
Once it has been updated, the member of staff will receive two automated emails:

To their original email address – confirmation that the email address can no longer be used to log into Taith360.
To their new email address – a verification email to confirm the change.
They should follow the link in the verification email to confirm the change of email address.

Sending/Re-sending Invitations to Activate a Taith360 Account

When a new user has been created, they will need to be sent an invitation to activate their account. This can only be completed by Taith360 admin users.

Select Teachers.
Check that the email addresses are correct for the staff you you are sending invitations to. If not, see Changing an Email Address to correct it.
Tick the selection boxes next to the staff you wish to invite.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Send Invitations.

If you are sending invites to staff across multiple pages, you will need to click Send Invitations before navigating to the next page.

Invites can be sent to any teachers whose status is ‘Created’ or ‘Invited’. Teachers whose status is ‘Active’ can reset their password – see Resetting a Password.

Resetting a Password

Teachers can reset their password at any time.

Click Do you need to recover a forgotten password?.
Enter your email address.
Click Send.

You will receive a link to your registered email address (please check your junk folder). You can use the link to complete your password reset.
