The Curriculum for Wales is intended to be flexible in order to ensure that it can be tailored to effectively meet the individual needs of the pupils in your school. As such, it is important that any system you use to support the learning of your pupils is equally flexible. Taith360 is no slouch in this department.
Planning and Assessment Frameworks
By default, Taith360 comes fully loaded with the Descriptions of Learning that you can find on Hwb but that doesn’t mean that you have to use those descriptions to plan and track against, and Taith360 can be customised to accommodate this.
As the flow chart above demonstrates, you can either use those descriptions as a starting point to make the framework your own, or you can start from scratch with a whole new set of descriptions, designed by you and your staff to help your pupils get the most from their time in school.
Tracking Towards Progression Steps or on a Year-by-Year Basis
The curriculum is broken down into 5 Progression Steps that span multiple year groups. When planning and tracking with Taith360, you can choose to use these as something that you are aiming towards across the years, or you can break them down into what pupils need to achieve on a year-by-year basis. Simply let us know which approach you wish to adopt, and we can facilitate adding your broken-down statements onto the system.
Customisable Outputs
Whether it be plans exported to Word, reports to parents throughout and at the end of the year, or pdf outputs used within and outside of school, all of these can be tailored to deliver the look and requirements that best fit your school and school community.
For more information on how all of this can be done, please see our brand-new Customisation Brochure, or contact the Support Team, who will be more than happy to take you through the possibilities and help you make the most of the system.
