Welcome back – we hope you had a lovely summer and managed to get a bit of a break.
We appreciate that this is normally a very hectic part of the year, and no doubt this year will be no different. So for now, we just wanted to update you on a few key points on what we have been working on over the summer and also what to expect from us over the next few weeks…
Roll forward/setups
Now that the new year is underway, it’s time to update Taith360 ready for the new academic year. However, before this can happen, you must ensure that your MIS (SIMS, Teacher Centre, etc.) has been rolled forward and is up to date.
We will be contacting all schools shortly to let you know what we need to roll you forward on Taith360.
However, if you have not yet been set up, please get in touch and we’ll guide you through the process.
Baseline/On-Entry Assessment
Don’t forget that you are able to set an initial assessment on Taith360 for any new pupils in your school. Please see our blog post and help and advice documentation for more information.
Training
We are repeating the User Guide Training we held throughout last year for Taith360 which helps users to get up and running on the system. We still have availability at the following sessions:
• Monday 4th September: 9:30am – 11:00am
• Tuesday 5th September: 3:30pm – 5:00pm
More information about these sessions, and how you can book onto one, can be found on our website: https://assessment360.org/training/
We have also been working on our training offering so that schools can create a more bespoke package based on their needs. We will be announcing details of this shortly so please keep an eye out for future communications regarding training.

PDF Outputs
We have been working on making it possible to export information from the Pupil Overview, Class Overview and School Overview pages to PDF, which you will then be able to print or email out as needed. We will of course update you when this is live for schools.
Fully Customisable Framework
A big part of the new curriculum for Wales is tailoring your curriculum to the needs of the learners in your setting. With this in mind, we have a massive development coming soon to Taith360. Taith360 is loaded up with the descriptions of learning from the official curriculum documents from Welsh Government, onto which you can add your own sub-statements, to support progression and help with planning. However, soon you will be able to upload your own completely bespoke set of frameworks to replace or supplement the content currently available. We will have more information on this for you soon.
As always, if you have any questions about any of this, please get in touch.
